My name is Jack and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Dover, DE. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
The position requires a familiarity with basic scientific principles, and will be performing basic lab functions, plus a willingness to be trained for any new ones. The laboratory technician will be operating lab equipment, observing experiments, and recording results. Anyone interested in this position should be comfortable in a scientific setting and be willing to develop conclusions based on the experiments performed.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate and maintain laboratory instruments
Monitor experiments, make observations, calculate and record results
Develop conculsions based on observations
Perform routine chemical and physical analyses
Provide laboratory support to various projects
Routine measurement of various components using HPLC
