Pediatric Psychologist at The Nemours Foundation in Dover, DE
Nemours Children's Health - Delaware (previously Nemours/A. I. duPont Hospital for Children) invites applicants for a full-time psychologist position within our Integrated Primary Care Psychology Program. We have a nearly 20-year history of providing integrated behavioral health services as part of interprofessional teams in our network of Nemours pediatric primary clinics throughout the state and are excited to expand our team. The psychologist in this position will join the pediatric primary care team at Nemours Children's Health, Dover, which is comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychology providers, nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators who provide team-based care to patients and their families. The Dover practice, located in central Delaware, serves a racially, ethnically and socioeconomically diverse patient population. Teaching, training, and mentoring are core values in our division and these efforts are supported and encouraged. Psychologists are members of the medical staff at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware and are supported with applying for an academic appointment through the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. This role includes many opportunities to participate in program development, leadership, advocacy, and community outreach. In addition, there will be opportunities for quality improvement and research initiatives. Our division collaborates with our research colleagues in the Nemours Center for Healthcare Delivery Science Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited clinical, counseling, or school psychology program Pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-accredited site At least one year of postdoctoral fellowship training in a child clinical or pediatric setting Licensed or license eligible in Delaware Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is highly valued Bilingual applicants (Spanish & English) preferred
