What does an outstanding Account Executive do? The Government Solutions Account Executive provides strategic and consultative management for a portfolio of existing and new clients in our government solutions vertical.
As the strategic advisor to the client, you will be required to have an in-depth understanding of the clients business, goals, strategies and industry trends and directions as well as Fiserv solutions that address their requirements.
This individual will be passionate about helping clients grow their business selling an enterprise set of innovative payment and technology solutions in complex client environments.
Account Executive, you can look forward to:
Expanding existing accounts within an assigned portfolio for the organization's key or national, large complex customers below the global account level.
Growing existing accounts within an assigned portfolio for the organization's key or national, large Government customers.
Prospecting and closing new Government merchant accounts within an assigned geography.
This includes prospecting, owning the sales representative role in RFPs through to signing new client contracts.
Serving as primary point of contact and information resource to clients, sales support, marketing, and management regarding ongoing operationsObtaining assigned sales quota through contract renewals and the sale of various products and services to assigned client portfolio in partnership with product sales SMEsYoure the kind of person who:

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors degree or equivalent or military service time required7
years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functionsPrevious experience selling into large enterprise accountsPreferred qualifications for consideration:
Prior experience of successfully working in a dynamic, matrix environment as well as in the Acquiring and/ or Payments IndustryGovernment and Public Sector background preferred.
Previous experience selling into large utility companiesProduct management experience preferred.
Experience working with Merchant clients, relationship management and cross consulting.

Has worked with eCRM tools, tracking and reporting pipeline, and achieving sales targetsHas strong influencing and negotiation skills Long sales cycle, C-Level (CEO, CFO, COO) sales/relationship management experience required.
Can lead and develop an account strategy using client growth plans, budget and project timelinesIs results oriented - strong, tangible results in previous sales and account management role(s)Travel required:
>40%.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
