The Counterperson will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and sharing their knowledge about our products and services.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
Process sales transactions while operating assigned cash register accurately.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all products, services, and promotions to effectively answer customers' questions.
Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that the counter area is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not needed, ideally in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure during peak business hours.
Basic computer skills and the ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
High level of attention to detail and organization skills.
