Skills required:
MS Office; typing speed/accuracy (must be able to catch typos); EXCEL experience required, DICTATION, language/grammar/spelling; POSITIVE/HELPFUL attitude; ability to pivot based on priorities; organization skills.
The person must take responsibility for office management, calendaring, for helping to develop precise procedures, and for keeping attorneys organized.
Duties:
electronic filing with courts; maintaining litigation case list and firm calendar on database; opening new case files in database; inputting case data and updating firm case management system; preparing documentation for accountant; handling problems with vendors; sending routine correspondence to clients and answering calls; completing dictation.
