Introduction The Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy supports energy efficiency and conservation programs that help reduce energy use and its impact on the state's environment and public health.

Summary Statement The following positions are open in division:
C/S Planner II - This position will provide technical assistance to the Energy Efficiency Investment Fund (EEIF).
EEIF was established to help Delaware businesses decrease operating costs, reduce energy consumption, and improve environmental performance.
Specifically, the position will be supporting EEIF by providing technical review of grant applications, assisting with energy policy analysis and support with measurement and verification of energy savings.
C/S Planner II - This position will provide technical assistance to the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) with program management, research, policy analysis, education, and outreach.
This position with provide direct support for the WAP which was is authorized by the Department of Energy (DOE) which provides services at no cost to qualified low-income Delaware families to reduce energy costs.
C/S Planner IV - This position will assist and advise Division leadership with analysis and policy development relating to grid modernization, transmission planning, distribution planning, renewable energy, and utility regulation.
The position will play a leading role in working with the Public Service Commission, PJM Interconnection, LLC and other stakeholders to identify and address barriers to developing renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean transportation.
This position will also provide policy analysis in support of the Governor's Energy Advisory Council and the development of the Delaware Energy Plan.

Research and analyze policies, data and information.
Evaluate costs, benefits, and consequences of environmental and transportation policies.
Develop forms, spreadsheets, records and reports to document progress of adaptation recommendations.
Coordinate between agencies for meetings, site visits and data needs.
Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Energy Planner II Six months experience in conducting research.
Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.
Knowledge of climate change, environmental, and/or clean transportation policies.
Knowledge of interpreting rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
Energy Planner IV Three years experience in conducting research.
Three years experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.
Experience in climate change, environmental, and/or clean transportation policies.
Three years experience in interpreting environmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
