00 pm (PT) Paid vacation and sick leave SUMMARY Helps the Meals on Wheels Coordinator with the coordination and delivery of Meals on Wheels meals by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Accepts paperwork on homebound clients from outreach workers Delivers referrals to outreach workers as needed Helps resolve inconsistencies with deliveries to homebound participants Helps coordinate the distribution of meals to clients Refers homebound clients special needs to dietitian Informs volunteers of policies, procedures, and standards of volunteer service Participates in volunteer recognition programs and fundraisers Assist the satellite sites with Meals on Wheels volunteer issues as needed Other duties may be assigned COMPETENCY Follows instructions, policies, and procedures and, responds to management direction Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Maintains confidentiality Contributes to building a positive team spirit Writes clearly and informatively Is proficient at typing and data entry.
Presents numerical data effectively Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time Is consistently at work and on time Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Observes safety and security procedures Uses equipment and materials properly Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences Upholds organizational values EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence MATH ABILITY Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance COMPUTER SKILLS Microsoft Word software Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software CERTIFICATES/LICENSES Valid driver's license required WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
