Job DescriptionSound is Seeking an ICU Program Medical Director at High Acuity ICU in Dover, DelawareWe are looking for an experienced, dynamic Critical Care leader to join our team in Dover.

Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus is part of the larger Bayhealth system, the largest health system in central and southern Delaware, and offers the residents of Central Delaware high-end healthcare close to home.
Bayhealth s Kent Campus is home to robust cardiac, surgical, and neurosurgical departments as well as a growing GME community.
The hospital boasts multiple residency programs including internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, and general surgery.
317-bed community hospital Lead a team of 6 critical care clinicians in a multi-disciplinary setting with the support of a tenured regional team Engage with dedicated residents from multiple disciplines in a high-acuity ICU setting Day shifts only; Tele-ICU and onsite subspecialty backup at night Bayhealth, Kent Campus offers a full complement of sub-specialty support including Cardiovascular and Thoracic specialists who are proficient in the latest treatments and surgeries.
Onsite imaging and interventional services are available as well as a Neuro Intensive Care Unit with Neurosurgeons onsite.
A Certified Primary Stroke Center and ANCC Magnet Hospital, the Kent Campus brings the highest levels of care to the communities they serve.
Education, Training & Experience RequiredThe Critical Care Program Medical Director will oversee a team of experienced critical care physicians and advanced practice providers.
You will practice clinically in addition to administrative responsibilities and should have at least five years of leadership experience in a large ICU.
Ability to work as a team member Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, be forward-thinking, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary in this environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting MD or DO; Must be board certified or board eligible in critical care medicine with 5
