The Learning Specialist will serve as a key member of the Human Sigma and Learning team in supporting the learning and development needs of all WSFS Associates
This incumbent will facilitate Retail new hire courses, technical/systems, policy, compliance, soft skills training, and additional responsibilities upon request
Job
Responsibilities:
Provide stellar service to all internal customers
Ensure that all training supports and integrates WSFS strategic initiative
Facilitate various training programs including Retail new hires, soft skills and technical training for Associates and Managers
Facilitate soft skills training such as Stellar Service, sales, coaching, etc
Integrate a variety of training and learning methods into the training curriculum to enhance the learning experience and to foster Associate involvement and engagement
Always maintain integrity and professionalism of HSL training department, as well as maintaining the integrity of all training curriculum
Actively participate in professional associations to keep abreast of training trends and to further skill development
Depending on business need, may be cross trained on other curriculum
Achieve proficiency with WSFS University (corporate LMS) for scheduling, roster maintenance, pre- and post-work assignments, participant communication, and course evaluation
Solicit regular feedback or otherwise measure effectiveness of training programs and adjust as necessary
May be asked to travel to various training locations within Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must have three years of Banking experience (retail preferred)
Must have basic knowledge of adult learning theory
Must have excellent facilitation skills
Must be enthusiastic, energetic and can motivate others
Experience with mentoring, coaching and providing feedback to coworkers is a plus
Must have a strong commitment to Stellar Service and the Human Sigma process
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have excellent listening ability and presentation skills
Must have the ability to communicate frequently with department managers, supervisors and Associates from other departments, as well as contact with Senior level Managers
Must have the ability to consultant with Supervisor and teammates when policies, procedures or content needs to be changed or updated
Must have the ability to make decisions based on prior experience and good judgment
Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
