Job Summary: The National Indirect Channel Manager is chartered to grow and contribute to Checkpoint's North American Shrink Management Solutions revenue growth and profit objectives through the expansion, support and effective management of a skilled Certified Reseller network. Primary Responsibilities: Provides leadership, direction and strategic planning for channel sales/support management team. Creates and executes the business plan to achieve/exceed revenue and gross margin targets. Provides reporting to management regarding all aspects of the reseller channel program, including Monthly Business Reports, forecasting and market research. Manages sales expenses within budget. Assists Checkpoint sales management Line of Business teams in minimizing the possibility of disruption of direct sales during the shift to reseller channel sales. Hires, develops and retains channel partners to insure effective geographical sales and service coverage. Creates a culture of problem solving to empower individual channel partners to grow and succeed. Stays ahead of emerging trends and activities in the industry. Actively participates in industry events and seminars. Encourages cross border and international cooperation. Commits to quality, values, service, integrity and excellence in all endeavors. Knowledge & Skill Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred from four-year college or university, or 5+ years related experience preferably in a channel environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Adeptness at motivating a team to consistently perform above expectations in a competitive environment. Experience with executive relationships and alliances. Ability to negotiate strong partnerships and high-yielding contracts. Strategic planning and solid goal setting. Extensive knowledge of the retail and security management solutions industry Experienced in managing both direct and channel sales. Entrepreneurial leadership and management skills. Solutions and applications selling skills. Possession of a sound knowledge of creative marketing tools, consumer behavior, market research, and preparing business strategy plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Effective personnel management, administrative and organizational skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
